Charlotte's Webtique is owned by Lianne, a creative maker who hand paints and draws her own fabric prints.
She uses these prints to create personalized bows and bowties for young children. Trust me, you definitely won't find her designs anywhere else. Lianne wanted to rebrand because she was dissatisfied with her old look, and wanted a design that reflected the signature style of her unique yet classic products.
The target audience for Charlotte's Webtique are customers with young children who are Often shopping for a special occasion.
During our brief, Lianne said she gravitates towards muted color palettes like soft blue, blush, and grey. This was a perfect fit for the type of customer she wants to attract. Using this soothing color palette and her ideal audience for inspiration, we came up with an understated and elegant concept.
A simple, but effective statement.
The final logo design for Charlotte's Webtique features a bow that was inspired by a hand drawing of Lianne's. It closely resembles the bows she sells in her shop. We toyed around with the idea of using the bow wrapped around two paint brushes, but ultimately decided having it "tied" to the letter T was better suited for a classic and clean look.
